Ludwig, Carol R. #2 (8 NOV 1958)

Miss Carol R. Ludwig exchanged marriage vows with James H. Peissig on Saturday in St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester.  The Rev. Gerald Schuh performed the 11:00 o’clock ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. William Ludwig of Dorchester and Mrs. Opal Peissig of Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.) are the bridal couple’s parents.

To the strains of organ music Miss Ludwig was escorted to the altar by her father.  She wore a floor length gown of hand clipped Chantilly lace and sheer nylon tulle over white slipper satin.  The molded lace bodice was styled with Sabrina neckline and long lace sleeves.  An overskirt of lace with scalloped edge fell over a skirt of ruffled tulle.  A tiara outlined with seed pearls and embroidered with iridescent sequins held the bridal veil of English silk illusion.  She carried a cascade bouquet of red roses and white chrysanthemums.

Miss Jane Peissig, Curtiss, the groom’s sister, was maid of honor, and Miss Dorothy Schopper of Dorchester was bridesmaid.  They were escorted by Ronald Ludwig, the bride’s brother, as best man, and by Duane Ludwig as groomsman.

Gowns for the attendants were of satin and nylon organza in shrimp color.  Satin bodices with pleated sheer insets were topped with short sleeved jackets.  The skirts of sheer organza and nylon net featured satin peplum panels in front.

Ushers were Dale Thompson and Ronald Weix.

A reception was held at the Club House in Dorchester, followed by a dinner in St. Louis parish hall.

The groom is engaged in farming and the people will make their home near Curtiss.
