Raymond Aga

 

Loyal--Services for Raymond J. Aga, 71, Neillsville, who died at 6:50 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Medical Center, Neillsville, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal.

 

The Rev. Joseph Kraly will officiate. Gean Voss will be the accompanist for congregational singing.  Burial will be in the West Spencer Cemetery, and members of American Legion Post 175 will serve as pallbearers.

 

Visitation will be at Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, from 6-9 tonight and at the church one hour prior to service time Friday.

 

He was born Aug. 7, 1921, in Lake Wilson, Minn., to Lars and Margaret (Valance) Aga.  He was educated at Lake Wilson and helped on the family farm until he entered the service.  After his military service, he married Donna M. Grieser Jan. 1, 1949 in Lake Wilson.

 

He and his wife farmed in the Lake Wilson area until they moved to the Neillsville area in 1952.  They purchased a farm in the town of York, and he farmed there with his son until the time of his death.

 

He is survived by his wife; one son, Gary R. of Neillsville; two sisters, Mrs. Vinal (Doris) Severiod of Rochester, Minn., and Mrs. Ann Hemike of Lake Wilson; and two grandchildren.

 

He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers.
