Auberg, Judith (10 OCT 1959)

Miss Judith Diane Auberg and Philip Ross Cieslik exchanged marriage vows on Saturday, Oct. 10, 1959, at a 2:00 o’clock ceremony at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Withee.  The Rev. Theodore C. Predoehl officiated.

Parents of the couple are Mrs. Veryl Auberg and the late Roy Auberg, and Mr. and Mrs. John Cieslik.

Miss Auberg wore a gown of white nylon lace trimmed with nylon net ruffles on the waltz length overskirt.  The fitted bodice featured a high neckline and long sleeves.  Her fingertip veil was fastened to a tiara crown.  Dainty nylon lace edged the veil.  A colonial nosegay of yellow rosebuds and white stephanotis completed the attire.

Miss Carole Blazer served her cousin as maid of honor.  Miss Nona Paulsen, also the bride’s cousin, was bridesmaid.  They wore gowns of waltz length in nylon lace which had long sleeved bolero jackets.  Miss Blazer’s gown was in cotillion blue and Miss Paulsen’s gown was shrimp.  Each girl carried colonial nosegays of chrysanthemums of bronze, yellow and white.

The groom had for his best man, his brother, Robert of Stratford.  The bride’s cousin, David Blazer, was an attendant.

A 4:30 wedding reception was held at the Woodland Hotel and that evening a wedding dance was held at the Kolby Park.

Upon their return trip through northern Wisconsin Mr. and Mrs. Cieslik will make their home in Owen (Clark Co., Wis.).
