Hendriks, Faye (30 JAN 1960)

Miss Faye Hendriks chose January 30th, 1960 for her wedding day, exchanging vows with Donald Stolp. The Rev. Theodore Predoehl, pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Withee, performed the double ring wedding ceremony at 2:00 o’clock.  Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hendriks of Withee and Mr. and Mrs. William Stolp of Owen.  The bride, escorted down the aisle by her father, wore a white lace gown which featured long tapering sleeves, fitted bodice and a full skirt.  A fingertip veil of imported net with a hand rolled hem was fastened to a crown of tiny seed pearls fashioned to resemble orange blossoms.  She carried a spray of red Roses and white carnations.

Mr. Norman Kock, Wausau, served as best man.  Groomsmen were Arthur Laakso, Owen, and Gary Graham of Medford.  The men wore formal tuxedo suits.

A wedding dinner was served to relatives and friends at the American Legion Hall, Owen.
