Gotter, Alma (17 OCT 1899-? ?1956)

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Richard Gotter, 56, will be held at Trinity Lutheran church at 2 p.m on Friday of this week. The Rev. John Pfohl will officiate.

 

Mrs. Gotter died Tuesday morning at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, following an illness of several years. The body will lie in state at the Myre Funeral Home Wednesday evening.

 

Alma Pieper was born October 17, 1899 in Dodge county. She came with her family to Clark county at the age of two and lived in the vicinity of Granton and Loyal all her life.

 

On May 9, 1917, she was married to Wm. Breseman at Loyal and the couple operated a cheese factory until his death in 1945. She came to Loyal in 1948 following her marriage to R. F. Gotter.

 

Surviving is one son Algarnon Breseman, Chilton; eight step-children, Celen, Loyal; Harvey, Eugene, Reuben, Ronald, Marshfield; Elroy, LaCrosse; Mrs. Norman (Lorene) Luchterhand; Mrs. Rupert (Arlene) Christman and Mrs. Paul (Elaine) Degenhardt; and four grandchildren.

 

Two brothers, Reihnnardt Pieper and Arnold Pieper, and a sister Mrs. William (Lorna) Fohrman also survive. Her first husband and a brother preceded her in death.
