Hewett (5 Mar 1914)

 

Mrs. Herman Schultz gave a farewell dance Saturday evening in honor of her father, Frank Weisner, who left for his home in Montana Tuesday.

 

Mrs. J. A. Wood is quite sick.  Dr. Monk is attending her.

 

Sam Bunny is working for Willis Enheilder.

 

Lon Cook some two fine cows to Mrs. Bell Jossie last week.

 

Bennie Hart and Jake Brunt have gone to Alma Center to look for work.

 

D. Timerson and Walter Amidon each bought a cow down near Columbia last week.

 

Mrs. L. Marovec of Columbia spent last week with Mrs. L. Cook.

 

There was a party at John Durst’s Thursday evening for the children.

 

Mrs. G. Bunny visited with Mrs. Alden Metcalf one day last week.

 

Jake Laager lost one of his horses last week.
