For the occasion the bride selected a gren and beige dress with green accessories and flwoers of pink tea roses with rust mums.  Her bridesmaid, Mrs. Theresa Auberg, wore a winter white brocade dress with green accessories and flowers of gold and pink carnations.

John Whittemore served as the groom’s best man.

Members of the bridal party and their families sat down to a 5:00 o’clock dinner served at the Woodland Hotel.  That evening the couple received more than 200 guests and well-wishers at a reception held at the Legion Hall, Owen.
