LOYAL -- Joshua J. Bergeron, 19, of Hatley/Marshfield, formerly of Loyal, died Sunday, May 15, 2011, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2011, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal. The Rev. Daniel Zimmerman will officiate, and burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery in Chippewa Falls. Pallbearers will be Cody Benz, Chris Benz, J.C. Visitation will be held at Cuddie Funeral Home in Loyal on Thursday, May 19, 2011, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and at church Friday from noon until time of service.

Joshua James Bergeron was born June 28, 1991, in Chippewa Falls, the son of Brenda Bergeron and Brian Northcott. He lived in Black River Falls, with his parents, until moving to Loyal in 1994. He attended school at Loyal until moving to Marshfield in 2008. At the time of his death, Josh worked in the oil fields out west, cleaning oil rigs.

He had many interests, but especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, bonfires, hunting, fishing, riding 4-wheelers and dirt bikes, and working on cars.

He will be sadly missed by his mother, Brenda Northcott (Kevin Mijal) of Hatley; his father, Brian Northcott (Trish Folz) of Marshfield; his son, Kaiden Neuenfeldt of Birchwood; two sisters, Brittany and Breanna Northcott, both of Hatley/Marshfield; special friend, Abigail Swoboda of Marshfield; his maternal grandparents, Jim and Judy Bergeron of Granton; his paternal grandparents, Ardis and Gary Benz of Hixton, and Gary Northcott of Princeton; his maternal great-grandparents, Jim and Joanne Bergeron of Chippewa Falls; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be given in the name of Josh's son, Kaiden, for a fund to be set up at a later date.
