Casper, Lydia (1894? - 16 JUL 1941)

Funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon at Alma Center for Mrs. Lydia Pierce Casper, who died in a Madison hospital July 16, 1941, at the age of 47 years.  A number of relatives from here (Humbird, Clark Co., Wis.), including her aunt, Mrs. Anna Pierce, and also several relatives from La Crosse, attended the burial services.  Mrs. Casper resided with her family on a farm south of Alma Center.  She was the second daughter of the late Frank Pierce, and was born and grew to womanhood in this vicinity.  After the death of her father, the family moved to a farm near Black River Falls, where the mother remarried and yet resides.
