Linderman, Alice L. (18 February 1925 - 4 May 2011)

 

Alice L. (Struble) Linderman, 86, of Black River Falls and formerly of Neillsville died Wednesday, May 4, 2011, in the Family Heritage Care Center in Black River Falls.

 

Alice was born Feb. 18, 1925, in Neillsville to George and Gertrude (Harding) Moen.  She graduated from Neillsville High School, and she married Lawrence (Chuck) Struble in Neillsville Dec. 24, 1941. Chuck preceded his wife in death Sept. 5, 1974.

 

Alice married Harvey Linderman March 9, 1986, in Madison. The couple resided in Madison for two years and then moved to Sarasota, FL.  They moved to Black River Falls and resided there full time since 2008.

 

For many years, Alice was employed as an office and dental assistant for Dr. Roger Heineck in Neillsville. She also worked in the records department at Marshfield Hospital; was a secretary at New Berlin Heating and Cooling; and owned a liquor store in Loyal.

 

Surviving are her husband Harvey Linderman, Black River Falls; her son Dean B. (Carla) Struble, Amherst; her daughter Barbara L. Struble, Alma Center; six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

 

In addition to her first husband, Lawrence (Chuck) Struble, she was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Dwane Krejci.

 

A private celebration of Alice’s life will be held in Neillsville at a later date. Burial will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

 

The family prefers memorials be given to Black River Memorial Hospice, 711 W. Adams St., Black River Falls, WI 54615

 

Torgerson’s Funeral Service (715-284-4321) is assisting the family with arrangements.
