Mrs. Allie Huyck of Duluth was a visitor with Mrs. Bertha Stallard over the weekend.

Rev. and Mrs. E.F. Menger of Mormon Coulee, near La Crosse, were calling on friends in town Monday.  They had been at Neillsville delivering a load of fruit and other commodities to the Indian School.

Mr. and Mrs. Perl Pickett expect to leave Thursday for their annual duck and pheasant hunting expedition into South Dakota, and also for a visit with friends in Watertown in that state.

Mrs. Norm Hart fell as she was about to ascend the stairs in her apartment, where she lived with her son Harry and family, last Saturday evening.  She sustained numerous bruises and a fractured rib.  Mrs. Hart has been confined to her bed since the accident.

Fred Trachsel had a triple misfortune after he and his family returned from town Wednesday evening of last week.  He drove the car into the garage, and next morning both rear wheels and tires and the spare were missing.  A path was found through the grove north of the garage, where the wheels were carried out to the highway.  A good watchdog at the farm had been killed not many days before the theft.
