Humbird (19 April 1962)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Laufenberg and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Laufenberg of Alma Center were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Mayer.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Blang of Fairchild visited Sunday afternoon in the Fred Barr home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Chet Bailey spent Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. John Greub.

 

Tom Perry is spending several days with his daughter in Arpin, and is doing some remodeling of her home.

 

Postmaster and Mrs. A. L. Kirby returned Sunday morning from Knoxville, Tenn., where they visited their son, Keith and his family.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Gjerseth of Black River Falls were Sunday afternoon visitors in the Gordon Gearing home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Glen Van Horn of Alma Center were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Perle Pickett.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hart drove to Monticello Saturday to spend a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Spring.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Manthe and children of Tomah were supper guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Harris.

 

Mrs. Grace Giloy of Neillsville and father, Wilfred Flood, called here Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Jean Bishop were dinner guests Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Bohac, near Hatfield.

 

Mrs. Albert Squires spent several days last week in Rochester, Minn.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Terrell and Mrs. Ed Harris called in Eau Claire, and at the Vaughn Ness home in Altoona, Saturday. Stevie Ness came home with them to stay for a week.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schlegelmilch called Tuesday in the Jean Bishop home.
