Zank, Emil H, (18 January 1886 - 24 April 1962)

 

Funeral services were held last Saturday from the Georgas Funeral Home for Emil H. Zank, 76, who died April 24, at his home.

 

The Rev. Evan Dieck of the Zion American Lutheran Church in the Town of Pine Valley, officiated and burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers were: Ellsworth Bollom, Orin Eastman, August Klann, Everett Raine, Frederick Wagner and Otto Wetzel.

 

Two hymns, "Jesus Savior Pilot Me" and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" were sung by Wilfred Galstad, accompanied by Mrs. Jess Scott.

 

People from out of town here for the service were Mr. and Mrs. William Schaal and family, Normal, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Norman Wilke, Owen; Mrs. Arthur Janke, Oshkosh; Fritz Zank, Black River Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Albert H. Zank, Chippewa Falls; Miss Agnes Mohr, St. Paul, Minn.; Mr. and Mr. Francis Suckow, Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Emil Zastner, Oshkosh; Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Malmborg, Mrs. Viola  Youngner, Mrs. Gordon Swanson, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Peterson, Mrs. H. Montgomery and Mrs. Clara Ehrenberg, all of Minneapolis, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Ben Roesler, Mrs. Walter Petreik and Mrs. Otto Petreik, Fall Creek.
