Hanson, Mary Louise (Marriage - 27 April 1962)

Wedding vows were repeated April 27, by Miss Mary Louise Hanson of Eau Claire, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Hanson, Paxton, Ill., and former residents of Neillsville, and Merrill A. Lovvik, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold A. Lovvik, Eau Claire.

Mr. Hanson gave his daughter in marriage.  The Rev. Clifford Ritland performed the ceremony in the Hope Lutheran Church in Eau Claire.

For her wedding the bride wore a silk organza over taffeta gown.  Iridescent beading and pearls embroidered the Alencon lace which trimmed the scoop neckline and the flowing princess front panel.  Cabbage roses adorned the back panel and the skirt ended in a chapel train. Her fingertip veil was attached to a crown of pearls and lace.  Her cascade bridal bouquet consisted of pink carnations and pink sweet heart roses entwined with ivy.

Mr. and Mrs. John Hanson of Neillsville, brother and sister-in-law of the bride, were bestman and matron of honor.  Mrs. Hanson was attired in a light blue lace sheath, with a scoop neckline and ballooned skirt. Her headpiece matched her gown and she carried a nosegay of pink and white carnations.

Larry Skoug, friend of the groom, ushered.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the groom’s parents.

On their return from a wedding trip to Minnesota, Mr. and Mrs. Lovvik will reside at 3031 Mars Ave., Eau Claire.

Mrs. Lovvik, a class of 1957 graduate of Neillsville High School and Luther School of Nursing in Eau Claire, is employed in Luther Hospital.  Mr. Lovvik is employed by a manufacturing concern in Eau Claire.
