Clouse, Carol Eva (Marriage - 23 June 1962) 

 

Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Greenwood was the scene June 23 of the wedding of Miss Carol Eva Clouse, daughter of Mrs. Frank Clouse and the late Frank Clouse of Greenwood, and Dennis Jaenke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Jaenke, Rt. 2, Fall Creek. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Arvid Myhrwold before an altar adorned with candelabra.  Baskets of roses, daisies, and other summer flowers were arranged before the altar.

 

The bride’s grandfather, Eugene McNamara, gave her in marriage.

 

The bride chose a floor length gown of embroidered nylon organza over taffeta. A full bouffant skirt was attached to a fitted bodice that was fashioned with a Sabrina neckline. A fingertip veil was secured to a crown of seed pearls on satin. She carried a cascade arrangement of white roses and Lily of the valley.

 

Miss Bonnie Clouse of Union Grove was her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Evelyn Clouse, Union Grove and Miss Norma Clouse of Greenwood.

 

Junior Jaenke attended his brother as best man.  His groomsmen were Ray Peterson, Fall creek, and Einar Jaenke, Cadott.  Ushers were Donald Greene, Cadott, and Walter Jaenke, Eau Claire.

 

"O Perfect Love" and "The Wedding Prayer" were sung by Mrs. Don Ellingson accompanied at the organ by Mrs.  Don Warner.

 

The bride a graduate of Greenwood High School has been employed in a bank in Greenwood, and her husband, a graduate of Fall Creek High School, works at a lumber yard in Greenwood, where they will make their home.
