Zank, Alberta (Marriage - 7 February 1962)

Word has been received here of the February  7 marriage of Miss Alberta Zank, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Zank of Chippewa Falls, former residents of the Neillsville area, and A/2c Richard J. Gallagher, Jr., son of Mr. and Mr. Richard Gallagher, Sr., of San Diego, Cal.

The nuptial ceremony was performed in the United States Air Force Chapel in Ramstein, Germany.  The religious double ring ceremony was performed in a candlelight service and the Rev. Cain, a close friend of the groom, accompanied the bride to the altar.

The bride was attired in a street length dress of white satin brocade styled with a bell shaped skirt attached to a fitted bodice that was complemented with a jacket.  A short veil of silk illusion was caught to a cabbage rose accented with seed pearls.  She carried an arm bouquet of pink carnations with a large bow and long streamers ending in circles of myrtle.

Mr. and Mrs. Gallagher are living in an apartment in Ramstein, Germany, where the groom is stationed as an air force control operator.   They plan to tour Europe during their stay overseas.

The bride is a 1962 graduate of Wisconsin State College in Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science degree.  Mr. Gallagher attended California State College in San Diego before entering the Air Force.
