Schimke, Bradley M. (9 July 1983 - 9 June 2011)

 

Bradley M. Schimke, 27, of Clinton, WI, died unexpectedly as a result of an automobile accident on Thursday, June 9, 2011, in Bone County, IL.

 

Brad was born July 9, 1983, in Beloit, WI, the son of Michael and Susan (Tschanz) Schimke.  He was a 2002 graduate of Clinton High School and 2003 graduate of Lakeshore Technical College.  He was employed by The DeLong Company, Clinton, WI, as a grain elevator operator. Brad was a member of the Stateline Goat Club, Rock County 4-H and the American Dairy Goat Association (A.D.G.A.) he was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing, hunting, 3-wheeling, ATV’s softball, playing pool, farming and tooling around in his jeep. 

 

Brad is survived by: his parents, Mike and Sue Schimke, his sister, Amber Schimke, his brother, Tyler (Fiancée Jeannette Hanus) Schimke all of Clinton, WI; maternal grandmother, Evelyn Tschanz of Monroe, WI; and paternal grandmother, Ruth Schimke of Lublin, WI; special friend, Leaha Johnson and her son, Willie; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joe Tschanz and paternal grandfather, John Schimke.

 

A celebration of Brad’s life was held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 13, 2011, at the River of Life United Methodist Church, 511 Public Avenue, Beloit, WI with the Reverend David Carlson and Reverend Dawn Jeffers-Ramstad co-officiating.  Interment was in the Clinton Cemetery. The family greeted friends and family from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, 2011, in the Brian Mark Funeral Homes, 1000 Inman Parkway, Beloit, WI and from 10:00 a.m. until time of service in the church.

 

A memorial fund is being established in Brad’s name.
