Tamara Backus and Michael Ludwig of Madison have announced their engagement.
Tamara is the daughter of Larry and Marilyn Backus of Oshkosh and is a graduate of Oshkosh West High School. She graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in chemistry and French and is currently employed by PDF, Madison.
Michael is the son of Terry and Dianne Ludwig of Dorchester and graduated from Colby High School. He graduated from UW-Stevens Point with a degree in biology and water resources.
A July 23, 2011 wedding is being planned.
