Merrillan (16 August 1962)

 

Ed Erickson of Zephyrhills, Fla., will spend some time at the Robert Linder home and visiting in this vicinity.

 

Mae Jarstad and two granddaughters of Northfield, and Grace Sassman of Alma Center accompanied Alvina Linder to New Glarus to attend the Swiss Volks Festival.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Peter Reinart, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Fitzmaurice and daughter, Terri, and Robert Shramek attended the wedding of Betty Irish and William Jarrett at Exeland.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Fitzmaurice and daughter spent last week with her parents, the Peter Reinarts, until Larry goes to his teaching job at Weyauwega.

 

Word has been received of the marriage of Mrs. Merle Singleton and Tony Schwie of Wilmington, Calif.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mathewson of Beloit are vacationing at the Hanson cottage at Hatfield.

 

Mrs. Estella Fry (Boss) Died at the Old Folks Home in Whitehall and was brought to Merrillan for burial.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dayton and boys returned home from Tacoma, Wash., after a five-month stay.  Mr. Dayton served with the 32nd Division at Fort Lewis.
