Ammentorp, Helen (Marriage - 18 Aug. 1956)

Robert Harts Exchange Vows

Nuptial promises were exchanged by Helen Ammentorp and Robert Hart in a 10:30 a.m. ceremony on Aug. 18 when Rev. Martin Gloudeman officiated in St. Patrick’s Church.  Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. Thorvald Ammentorp, of Owen, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hart, 228 Lafayette Ave.

The bride, given in marriage by Richard Ammentorp, her brother, wore a street-length gown of off-white embossed satin which was styled with a scoop neckline and shawl collar and trimmed with rhinestones. Beige accessories including a beige sequin hat with a face veil and a corsage of white baby mums and yellow tea roses completed her ensemble.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hart were the couple’s attendants with Mrs. Hart in a coral linen sheath with white accessories and a white picture hat. Yellow tea roses formed her corsage. After a dinner for the immediate families in the home of the bridegroom’s parents, the bridal pair left for a trip through northern Wisconsin. They will make their home at 2017 Case Ave.

Among out-of-town guests at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Eric Telvin, Owen; Mrs. Robert Pence, Withee; Frank Zwieflehofer, Bloomer; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Konieczny, Thorp; and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Ammentorp and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ammentorp of Milwaukee.
