Sandelier, Andrew (10 OCT 1988-31 JULY 2001)

 

Andrew G. Sandelier, 22, Greenwood, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2011. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, Aug. 4, at Missionary Baptist Church, Greenwood. Rev. Rob Love will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church, from 5-8 p.m., on Wednesday, Aug, 3, and also at the church on Thursday, from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

 

Andrew Gordon Sandelier was born on Oct. 10, 1988, in Stuart, Fla., the son of Daniel and Joy (nee Whittle) Sandelier. He was raise and received his education in Port Lucie, Fla., until moving to Greenwood in 1999. He graduated from Greenwood High School in 2007 as an accomplished athlete and with honors. He was currently employed at D&S Stainless, Colby as a welder. He had many interests, but especially loved spending time with his nephews, Degen and Colton, and his niece, Livia, who were the light of his life. He also loved playing softball, dancing and hunting.

 

He will be dearly missed by his parents, Dan and Joy Sandelier, Greenwood; one brother, Dan (Stacy) Sandelier, Loyal; his maternal grandmother, Gwen Whittle, Palm City, Fla.; his paternal grandparents, Gordon and Edie Sandelier, Glen Gardener, N.J.; his special friend, Jackie Herrick, Greenwood; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Sam Whittle.

 

In lieu of flowers, Andrew’s family requests that memorials be given to the house of the Dove, Marshfield, in his name.
