Stichman, Eleanor (16 FEB 1924-13 AUG 2011)

Eleanor (Knack) Stichman, 87, Billings, Mont, Mont., died on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011. Services were held on Aug. 16, at Atonement Lutheran Church in Billings. Interment followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Billings.

Eleanor Knack was born on Feb. 16, 1924, in Detroit, Mich., to Otto and Nora Knack. The family returned three later to their original home in Clintonville. She graduated from Clintonville High School and married her high school sweetheart, Perry Stichman. They raised four children together. After moving to Charlotte, N.C., for two years, they bought S-Bar_ S Supply in BVIllings in July 1971.

Survivors include he husband of 68 years, Perry Stichman; three sons, John (Kris) Stichman, Albuquerque, N.M., Robert (Barbara) Stichman, Billings, and Tom (Judy) Stichman, Billings; one daughter Janet McDaniel, Billings; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Milton (Joan) Knack, Loyal.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers and two sisters.
