Cynthia Rae Wiersig and William J. Aden, Spencer, were married August 1, 2011, along the Pigeon River in the Smokie Mountains, Pigeon Forge, TN. 

 

The bride’s parents are the late Richard Wieersig and Violet Wiersig, Mission, TX. The groom’s parents are the late Donald R. Aden and Mary Margaret Aden, Spencer. 

 

The bride wore a satin, off-white full length gown with lace and sequins on the bodice, a long off-white veil and tiara studs and pearls to match the dress. 

 

Pastor Frank Wier conducted the ceremony.

 

The bride went to school at UW-Marshfield/Wood County and works in the recovery from at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

 

The groom studied carpentry at MSTC in Marshfield. He is employed in maintenance at Abbyland Foods.

 

They honeymooned in Pigeon Forge and Bowling Green, KY. The couple will hold a reception at their home in Spencer at a later date.
