Maslowski, Mary (12 JUN 1879 - 13 FEB 1958)

Mrs. Joseph Maslowski of Lublin, who had been in ill health the past year, died Thursday in Montello at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Josephine Breitenbach.  She was released from the Medford hospital two days earlier and had gone to Montello to convalesce.  A heart attack was the cause of her death.  She was 78.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Eugene Knopka on Monday morning in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church Lublin, with interment in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Frank Ogurek, W. Pliszka, S. Wojdyla, F. Kusek, W. Zwigacz, and P. Liszewski.

Mrs. Maslowski, nee Mary Ostylowski, was born in Pland on June 12, 1879, and was married to Joseph Maslowski in 1903.  They came to this country in 1912, settling in Lublin.  She was a member of the Rosary Society and belonged to the Third Order of St. Francis.

Besides her husband, six children survive.  They are: Mrs. Breitenbach, Montello, Wis.; Casimer Maslowski and Miss Jean Maslowski, Minneapolis; Walter Maslowski of Medford, Major Frank Maslowski, U.S. Air Force, serving in North Africa, and Bruno Maslowski, Milwaukee.  There are five grandchildren.
