Scheibe, Margaret (4 MAY 1908 - 19 MAR 1958)

 

A lingering illness claimed the life of Mrs. Reuben Scheibe, 49, at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where she had been a patient for the past seven weeks.  Her residence was at 406 W. Seventh St., Marshfield.

 

The funeral was held at 9 o’clock Saturday morning at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with requiem Mass by Rev. Walter J. Dillenburg.  Interment was made in Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield.

 

A native of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), Mrs. Scheibe had lived in Marshfield since her marriage which took place there on Feb. 13, 1934.  The former Margaret Keideth was born May 4, 1908 at Thorp and graduated from Thorp High School in 1926.  She was a member of the 1928 graduating class of St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing, Marshfield.

 

Survivors include her husband, two sons, Jon and Jarl, both at home; a daughter, Mrs. James (Marlene) Wenzel, Marshfield, and a granddaughter.  Other survivors are her mother, Mrs. Frances Rasmussen, Thorp; a sister, Mrs. Raymond (Theresa) Izydorek, Thorp; a brother, John Keideth, Lynnwood, Wash.; a half-brother, Richard Rasmussen, Milwaukee; a half-sister, Mrs. Fred (Mary Ann) Wenzel, Marshfield; and a step-brother, Arthur Rasmussen of the state of Washington.  Her father and a step-sister preceded her in death.
