Horn, Darlene A. (2 AUG 1958)

On Saturday, Aug. 2, 1958, Miss Darlene Ann Horn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Horn, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Ronald Judson Hall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Judson Hall of Hartland, at a 2:00 p.m. service at the West Side United Church of Christ, Rev. Orval Egbert, pastor, officiated.  During the nuptial service, Miss Judith Behrens sang "Because," "O Promise Me" and "The Lord’s Prayer," accompanied by Mrs. Alvin Alberts at the organ.

The bride’s floor length gown was styled with tiered net over satin and rhinestone trimmed lace.  Lace edged her fingertip veil which was caught to a crown of sequins and rhinestones.  Red roses and white lilies and stephanotis composed her bouquet.

Miss Barbara Bruce, a sorority sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Misses June Braun, Eau Claire, Carol Drew, Milwaukee and Barbara Koschak, Greenwood, and Mrs. Guy Gurrath, Hartland, were bridesmaids.  All wore gowns of blue nylon over net, trimmed with white lace.  They carried bouquets of red roses.

Richard Flanegan, Hartland, was best man, with Hadley Hornburg, Gerald Horn, brother of the bride, Richard Luko and William Fleischman as groomsmen.  Completing the list of attendants were Susan Braun, as miniature bride and Timothy Fleming as ring bearer.

Dinner was served at the church following the ceremony, with a reception at the bride’s home and a dance in the evening at the Silver Dome Ballroom at Neillsville.

After a honeymoon trip to Pennsylvania, New York, and Niagara Falls, they will make their home at Shawano, Wis., where they are employed as teachers.

They are both graduates of the Wis. State College, Whitewater, where she was a member of the Delta Zeta national sorority and he was affiliated with Phi Chi Epsilon fraternity.  She taught school at Palmyra, Wis. before her marriage.
