Plenty of snow, but as the traveling man says where?  On the ground say the other.

 

Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Thayer were Granton callers Thursday.

 

Clarence Riedel is working for his grandfather, Mrs. Schoengarth, who is very ill at this writing.  We hope for a speedy recovery.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Potter and son Harlin visited at the home of N. Shafer Friday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Reindel visited at the home of William Schoengarth and family Sunday.

 

Will Reindel has finished his winter’s job at Schmeller’s and is home at present.

 

Mr. Frank Potter received the sad news of the death of his sister who was visiting in Iowa at the home of her daughter as Death caller her away to the everlasting.

 

Miss Josie Thayer spent Sunday with Viola Rhines.

 

Frank Plummer spent Sunday with his parents at Neillsville.

 

The Schafskopf club held at Geo. Reindel’s Friday evening was a grand success and a very large crowd attended.  Those Schafskopf parties have been a grand success this winter.  It affords a good past time and enjoyment for young and old.

 

Geo. Thayer of Curtiss is visiting his brother W.J. Thayer at the county farm.

 

Geo. Wilson and Geo. Reindel have each added a new horse to their stables, purchasing them from Ross Paulson at Granton.
