Selves, Mrs. Racie (? - 30 June 1963)

 

Funeral services were held July 3, for Mrs. Racie Selves, 88, who died June 30, in Neillsville. The Rev. Lloyd Mauer of the Methodist Church officiated at services from the Georgas Funeral Home.  Burial was made in the Town of Grant Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers were: Vern Suckow, Walter Larsen, Clarion Counsell, Harold Huckstead, Harold Langreck and Robert Ratsch.

 

"Sweet Bye and Bye" and "The Home over There" were sung by Wilfred b. Galstad, accompanied by Miss Kathleen Galstad.

 

Out of town people here for the service were: Mrs. Myrtle Polzin of Racine; Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Selves of Alma Center; Mrs. Robert Chadwick of Greenwood; Mrs. Robert Chadwick, of Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. S. G. Suchy of Pittsville; Mrs. William Hintz of Marshfield; Mrs. Gertie Cator and Mrs. Gladys Douyette of Minocqua; Mr. and Mrs. Abijah Herrick and Vera Terry Travis of Augusta.

 

Those from Granton attending were: Mr. and Mrs. William Vine, Mr. and Mrs. Theamore Vine, Mr. and Mrs. Irving Vine, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Vine, Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Trimberger, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hughes, Mr. and Mrs. William Tullis, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Howard, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Selves and family, and Mrs. Armin Moh.
