Behnke, Ruth (Marriage - 13 July 1963)

 

Trinity Lutheran Church in Greenwood was the scene Saturday of the wedding of Miss Ruth Behnke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Behnke of Rt. 3, Greenwood, and John R. Paschke, son of Mr. and Mrs. John G. Paschke, also of Rt. 3, Greenwood. The Rev. Daniel Zielske performed the double ring ceremony.

 

The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a traditional wedding gown and carried a bouquet of red roses and Gayety carnations, with ivy greens on a lace fan background.

 

Mrs. Marie Hocking served her sister as maid of honor.  Mrs. Louise Edwards, another sister, and Miss Alice Oestreich, a cousin of the groom, were bridesmaids.

 

Randy Paschke and Lynn Bublitz, brother and cousin of the groom, were ringbearer and flower girl.

 

Mr. Paschke’s bestman was his brother, Gust.  Groomsmen were Jack Edwards and Darryl Dulgar.  Ushers were Art Wisth, Jimmy Paschke, Clinton C. Hocking and Terry Meckley.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Paschke are on a wedding trip and on their return will reside on the groom’s farm on Rt.1 Loyal.
