The home talent play of Cannonville in the town hall Sat. night was a grand success.  The actors all did their part to perfection.  We hope they will come again some other time.  The rough roads kept a good many at home, so the crowd was not as large as it would have been if the roads had been good.  The young people all stayed for the dance and quite a few old folks too.

Mrs. Henry Eggan is sick.

Mrs. Harvey Hills’ brother from Unity is visiting her since Friday.

Mrs. Ed Ziemendorf and son Art came home Saturday.

Herman Schwanebeck took hogs to Granton Monday.

The wind storm Sunday night did considerable damage around the country.  It blew the roof off a log barn for Joe Jones and smashed up some machinery and blew down a silo and some barns in Wood County near Pittsville.

Robert Schreiber and Chris Fentz, the cheesemaker, went to Pittsville Monday after lumber to finish the cheese factory with.
