Forest Rowe sawed wood for E. Schoenfeld Wednesday and for E. Grabe on Thursday.

 

Fern Alton spent the latter part of last week with her sister, Mrs. D. Timerson.

 

There was a good turnout to the basket social in District No. 2 last Tuesday night.  Proceeds were $14.95.

 

Dan Timerson traded his span of gray horses Tuesday at Neillsville for a span of blacks.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Huntley, Mrs. Edna Lawrence and sons Wm. And Earl, and Mrs. Lillie Vande Berg and daughter Ida took dinner with Sadie Lawrence Wednesday and helped her celebrate her birthday.

 

Jennie Fulwiler and Grace Rowe spent Thursday at Roy Lawrence’s.

 

Miss Vivian Brooks closed a successful term of school in District No. 2 Friday.

 

There was a dance at Abram Vande Berg’s Thursday evening.

 

The stork visited the home of Jack Young last week and left a big girl.  He also visited the H. Bowman home and left a bouncing boy.

 

We had quite a thunder storm on Easter night.

 

Archie Garvin has been moving his household goods to the Youman’s farm where he is going to work this summer.

 

The Ladies Aid will serve dinner at the Woodmen Hall Election day.

 

Mr. and Mrs. M.C. Alton and daughters Viola and Ethel were Sunday guests at Dan Timerson’s.

 

Forest Rowe went to Rice Lake Saturday morning for a week’s visit with relatives.

 

Aug. Macksam, Jos. Rondorf, Mike Bahl and John Vande Berg delivered cattle and hogs to Granton on Monday.

 

John Van de Berg helped O.F. Greunke haul his household good to Granton.

 

Ed Voight is working for Walter Rowe.
