Mrs. Johnson had a tussle with the grippe last week.


Mrs. Frei had a rag bee one day last week at which about 15 ladies were present.


Mrs. Ackerman and daughter Jennie, and Mrs. Frei went to Chili last week Thursday for a visit with the former’s daughter, Mrs. Roehl.


Mrs. Effie Davis spent Wednesday of last week with her mother.  Mrs. Tremelling accompanied her as far as Frank Davis’ and in the afternoon Mrs. T. and Mrs. F. Davis went to Chili to attend the R.N.A. Lodge.


Lou Hayden has a position with the railroad co. and moved his family to Merrillan the latter part of last week.


The horse buyers from Clintonville who came last week, bout a team of Fred Wright for $500 and a horse of Truman Davis for $180.


Lou Davis came Sunday afternoon and stayed until Monday afternoon.


Eldred Davis is the possessor of a new watch and chain presented to him by his grandparents on his 13th birthday, April 3rd.


We forgot to mention in the last week’s issue that Mrs. Fred Wonser of Unity spent some time here with Al Nonhof and family.


Truman and Lou Davis and sister Mrs. John Pietenpol went to Marshfield Monday.  The former to do shopping and the latter two to have their eyes tested.


Ed Ackerman and Joe Krause hauled potatoes to Granton the latter part of last week.


Lila Davis, Ada and Albert Temelling began school Monday.


John Pietenpol sold a Holstein cow to Imig Bros. Monday.
