Vetinary Whitenen of Loyal was called out to F. Garbisch and F. Rogers one day last week to attend some sick stock.


Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stry [sic], and daughter and Mrs. Albert Strey drove down into Washburn last Saturday for an over Sunday visit with his wife’s parents.


Frank and Ed. Kubat are busy engaged cutting cord wood and bolts.


Justin Johnson and family were Sunday guests at McMahon’s.


Frank Rogers had the misfortune to lose one of his best cows.


Mr. Beecher and family took dinner at Kintzele’s, Sunday.


Herman and Ernst Schlinsog are engaged in hauling logs to Lautenbach’s mill at Granton.


Reinhold Guk was engaged here several days at F. Garbisch’s in butchering.  Und da er sehr erfahren ist im Wurstmachen se wurder Washkoerbe voll fabriziert.  He left Monday morning for Carl Loeffler’s, his next place of action.


Bill Strey took advantage of the nice weather Sunday to see his best girl.


Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Schlinsog Jr. came up here Tuesday for a combination business and pleasure visit at his brother Fred’s.


Frank Dubes sawed some wood for J. P. Kintzele, Tuesday.


Fred Garbisch left Monday morning for Adell, Sheboygan county, for an extended visit among relatives and friends.


P. Andregg called on Paul Scholtz Tuesday.


Ray Canfield is greeting everybody with a broad smile.  Wonder why.
