Mr. and Mrs. E. Montag came out from Cedarhurst the latter part of last week and spent several days at the old home, returning again on Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. R. Brooks and Mr. and Mrs. R.T. Washburn attended the 25th wedding anniversary at A.J. Knorr’s Wednesday evening.

 

Miss Howard went to Greenwood Saturday to spend Sunday at home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Wella beecher spent Sunday with realtives in Granton.

 

Henry Sternitzky and John Ure went to Grand Rapids the latter part of the week to adjust an insurance loss.

 

Henry Erhardt was seen on our streets Saturday.

 

Miss Vera Schierholz closed the winter term of school last Friday for a three week vacation.  She left Saturday for Conrell for a visit with friends.  From there she will go to Milwaukee.

 

Miss Nellie Broker of Lindsey was a guest of Mrs. R.T. Washburn part of Wednesday.  She left in the afternoon for Marshfield where she was that night made a member of the O.E.S.

 

Miss Elsie Grassman resigned her position in P.J. Kemmeter’s store in Granton and returned home on Monday.  Miss Elda Helm of this place, took up the work.  Miss Elsie will go to Milo, N.D. where she will assist her brother Albert in a store he purchased at that place just recently.

 

Lynn was on the move this week.  Mr. and Mrs. Ray Ure moved in the rooms upstairs in the Williams house and Jake Breseman moved in the house vacated by Mr. and Mrs. Ray Ure.

 

Miss Etta Altenburg is assisting Mrs. Grassman with her sewing this week.

 

Mrs. Arthur Garbush came down from Eau Claire last week and returned again, taking the two children to see their father.  She returned here Wednesday and report Mr. Garbush as getting along splendidly and that he will be home in a few weeks.

 

Albert Bentz went to Chicago on Wednesday and from there to go to Kankakee, Ill. to visit relatives.

 

Miss Ruby Martin is sewing for Mrs. Witte in Granton.

 

John Martin and daughters Ruby and Gertrude went to East Lynn Sunday to attend the baptism of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Sternitzky’s little daughter.  The little child was named Vera Luella.  Miss Gertrude Martin was chose as Godmother.

 

Miss Elsie Agnel visited her parents near Lindsey on Sunday.

 

O.W. Becker transacted business at Marshfield on Saturday.

 

Chas. Heckert of Appleton spent several days at the O.W. Becker home.
