Foemmel’s Corners (2 June 1910)


Al Nonhof, John Hefty and Frant Osgood have new lightning rods.


A cheese meeting was held here in the factory and it was decided to start up June 1.


Joe Lastofka, Frank Krejci, and son Victor spent Sunday evening at Truman Davis’.


Mr. A. H. Tucker of Marshfield was here Monday.


Tuesday Al Nonhof and Truman Davis hauled cheese from the county farm factory to Neillsville.


Mrs. Page and daughter Madeline are visiting at the A. W. Hales.


Harry Hales had the misfortune to break his leg last Sunday while playing ball.


Bernard Pietenpol, who was severely injured last Sunday night being kicked by a horse, is getting along nicely.  Particulars about the run-a-way will be found in local items.


Wm. Foemmel is breaking up his meadow which is being destroyed by the cut worms.


Mrs. Fradette visited friends in Christie Monday.


Mrs. Ross Paulson and two youngest children spent last week Thursday with her sister, Mrs. Fradette.


Lou Marsh came Saturday and screened in Al Nonhof’s back porch.  He made the screens himself and did a first class job.


Mrs. Lammers, baby and grandmother came Wednesday.


Ora Davis closed her school today Friday, with a picnic.


Little Edna Lee, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Lee is staying with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Solon Davis during her mother’s illness.
