August Happe and family came up from Tomah on Monday.  After visiting a few days with relatives they went on to Lomira to attend a conference.

John Henning made a tour of investigation the roads in the town and found them in nearly as bad of shape as Pete Hotchkiss did.

The entertainment and pie social given in District No. 3 School was well attended and much enjoyed.  No reports have been received of after effects from eating pie.  The debate on silage was decided in favor of the silo.  As a result E. Neinas started plowing the corn the next day and will place his order for a silo in the near future.
