Ruby was a very proud member of the Republican Party, and she was very active in the Business and Professional Women (BPW) organization.  She was a member of the Neillsville Optimist Club, a supporter of The Highground in Neillsville and she spent countless hours volunteering at St. John’s School and the Memorial Guild Gift Shoppe.

She is survived by two brothers, Ronald (Betty) Meihack of Neillsville and Marvin (Patty) Meihack of New Ulm, MN; eight nieces and nephews, who were the pride and joy of her life, Scott (Coleen) Meihack of Fallon, NV, Marc (Annette) Meihack of Fond du Lac, Lori (Mark) Tavener of Incline  Village, NV, Beth (Jim) Passint of Chippewa Falls, Keri (Steve) Kjenstad of Aberdeen, SD, Lynn (Joe) Wathke of Fall Creek, Anne (David) Rust of Kenosha and Ryan (Tara) Meihack of Dayton, MN; 16 great nieces and nephews and one great-great-nephew.
