Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Dennis ate Sunday dinner at the Clifford Winn home.

 

Miss Clara Jahr came from Neillsville Tuesday to visit her brothers.

 

Arthur Berg is expected home from the Marshfield hospital this week.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Webb Winn and daughter Ruby visited at L. Smith’s Sunday afternoon.

 

Homer Davis is rejoicing over a bouncing baby boy that arrived at his home one day last week.

 

Chas. Steuerwald and family of Loyal visited her brother Oscar Jahr Sunday.

 

Ed Coil and family were Sunday visitors at Leo Chapel’s.

 

Word was received by her parents that Marian Smith is ill with typhoid fever at Trinity Hospital, Milwaukee, where she is training for a nurse.

 

Mrs. Free Converse, Mrs. Price Beeckler and little son Allen left Tuesday morning for a week’s visit with relatives in Jackson County.

 

Mrs. Annie Nichol will attend to household duties for Mrs. Free Converse during her absence.

 

The children in the Will Scharf, Ara Lee and Lue Smith homes have the Whooping cough.

 

Mrs. Geo. Wilding came over on Wednesday to assist her sister, Mrs. Fred Handke, at the big barn raising Thursday.

 

Miss Cleo Daughhetee spent Saturday and Sunday with Frances Smith.

 

Miss Florence Converse is spending the week with Mrs. R. Rath.

 

Dora Johnson, Carol Davis, Bessie ?, Stella Gardner were the guests of Maude Smith on Sunday.
