A basket social and dance was given by the Royal Neighbors and was quite well attended.

Anton Hogenson had masons this week putting a stone wall under the store building and house.  He has several more rooms upstairs partitioned off, which will be plastered and finished up for occupancy this month.

Mrs. Claus Maack made a several days visit with his wife, who is still under the weather at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Degener.

H. Albrecht and Paul Bealer each had a barn raising last week.  Everything went in good shape.

Joe Hutt will soon commence to build his barn.  He has the stone wall all finished and the carpenters will commence work as soon as they are done at Albrecht’s.

H. Koser has gone into the painting business and is doing good work.

Al Snow shipped a car of stock Tuesday.

The east side of the R.R. is fixed up for a lawn now and flower beds have been put in.  It looks nice.
