E. Ziemendorf is having his house painted.

 

Paul Schwanebeck came home from Granton Saturday and returned Monday.

 

Will Shafer and wife of Granton were over Sunday visitors at F.J. Rinehart’s.

 

It is reported that the Gillard place is sold and the owner is hauling out fence posts to put up a new fence.

 

Mr. Rose of Granton was out our way Monday selling lightning rods.

 

The forsts Saturday and Sunday night did some damage to early potatoes and gardens.

 

The ladies aid will celebrate the Fourth at the town hal grove in Sherwood.  Everybody come.

 

Some of Harry Hill’s children are sick with the mumps.

 

The cheese factory will ship cheese every Wednesday.  They are getting a good supply of mile now.

 

Carl Brooks of Lynn was a caller at Scholtz’s and Gall’s last Sunday.
