Mrs. Neusted has been sick in bed a week.

 

Mrs. Alonza Morse is in quite poor health from heart trouble.

 

Mrs. Chas. Broker is better. Bell Wilson is working for her.

 

Mrs. Schafer and Mrs. Snyder of York are hauling rock from Hannah’s mound.

 

W.K. Armitage is receiving a visit from his nephew, Wayne Tremain, of Oconomowoc.

 

There were two surprise parties last week, one on Mrs. Nies, Sr., and one at Mr. Sleeter’s. 

 

A surprise party was given Jan. 4th at Mat Schafer’s in honor of two young men, relatives of theirs, from Dodge county.

 

Jessie Ormand of Globe, who is attending the Horican high school, was home for the holidays, and visited with several friends.

 

Presiding Elder Straw, who gave us an interesting sermon Sunday, announced that he had supplied this charge with a pastor, who will preach here.
