Miss Darlene Esther Larson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Larson of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Dennis Leo Bucheger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bucheger of Greenwood, Monday, May 29, during a marriage ceremony performed by the Rev. Hubert L. Crubel in the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Owen.

White and pink gladioli decorated the church altar for the 9:30 o’clock nuptial Mass and ceremony, at which the bride was presented in marriage by her father.

She appeared in a floor length gown of nylon lace over white satin fashioned with a paneled skirt, long sleeves and V-neckline.  Her chapel length veil was fastened to a pearl crown.

Bridal attendants were Mrs. Ann Sayah of Owen as matron honor and bridesmaid, Miss Jackie Bucheger of Minneapolis, Minn.

They wore lavender sheath dresses with bouffant white organdy overskirts and blush veils and white accessories.

Attending the groom were Lars Larson, La Crosse, best man and groomsman, Joe Bucheger of Greenwood.  Ushers were Leo Larson and Dave Bucheger.

All of the wedding day events, a 12:00 o’clock dinner, 5:30 o’clock supper and a 4:00 reception, were all held at the American Legion Hall in Owen.

The new matron is a graduate of Owen High School and has been employed by Thorp Finance Corp.  Her husband is also a graduate of the Owen High School and is employed as a truck driver.

After a wedding trip through northern Wisconsin, the young couple will make their home in Thorp.
