Greenwood (30 January 1964)

Mr. and Mrs. Orville Schwarze of Waukon, Ia., spent Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schwarze.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Parkel, Jr., and their fathers, Frank Parkel, Sr., and Lucas Dernovsek, spent Wednesday and Thursday with the elder Parkel’s son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Singer, in Milwaukee.

Weekend guests at the Orlin Fravert home were Mr. and Mrs. John Holmer of Racine; and Friday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Kuester.  Other recent visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Schmidt of Loyal.

Mrs. Vera Wuethrich and her granddaughter, Diane Wuethrich, spent Thursday and Friday in Rio with the Alfred Wuethrich family.  They also visited Mrs. Wuethrich’s aunt, Mrs. Anna Enton, at Memorial Hospital in Mauston.

Relatives and friends helped Mrs. Peter Scherr celebrate her birthday anniversary with a party Sunday afternoon at her home.  A supper was served.  Present from out of town were her daughter, Mrs. Florian Herrick, and daughter, Patricia, of Colby.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Noeldner and her mother, Mrs. Erna Wehrman, left Saturday for Lannon, where they attended the wedding of the latter’s nephew, Eugene Wehrman, to Carol Jean Zastrow.  They planned to spend several days in Lannon and Milwaukee with relatives and friends.
