Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon from the United Church in Neillsville for Thomas Emil Krejci, 70, of Rt. 1, Willard, who died Sunday of a heart attack in Neillsville.  The Rev. W. C. Koehler officiated. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

 

Tom Krejci was born June 21, 1893, in the Town of York.  His parents were the late Frank M. and Anna (Schafer) Krejci.  He attended Happy Hollow School.  He was engaged in farming most of his life.  In 1947, he sold the home farm and moved to Willard in 1949, where he owned a tavern.  On July 29, 1925, he was married to the former Alice Rhead in Neillsville.

 

He was a director of the Neillsville Milk Products Cooperative for 14 years, a director for the Neillsville Shipping Association for 12 years, and at the time of his death was an officer of the Town of Seif.

 

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. David (Betty) Winkel of Granton; Mrs. Frank (Darlene) Celar of Rt. 3 Neillsville; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Hemp of Neillsville, Mrs. George (Mary) Hales of Granton, and Miss Estelle Krejci of Racine; two brothers, Victor Krejci of Granton, and Edwin Krejci of Racine. Six grandchildren also survive.

 

Funeral arrangements were made by the Georgas Funeral Home.
