Neillsville Area Locals (20 February 1964)

Mr. and Mrs. Duane Bush and children of Milwaukee arrived Friday for a weekend visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Wasserburger, and with Mr. Bush’s relatives. They were accompanied to Neillsville by Mrs. Wasserburger, who spent a week at the Bush home.

Mrs. John Kelly left Sunday with the Duane Bush family for a visit with her daughter, Mrs. Frank Cole and family in Milwaukee.

Mrs. Tom Yndogliato returned Thursday from a three-week trip to the western states. At San Francisco, Cal., she visited her daughter, Theo Jonkel, and from there flew to Denver, Colo., for a visit with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Poertner and with a nephew, Joe Poertner, and his family, in Greeley, Colo.  Mrs. Yndogliato accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Poertner to St. Louis, Mo., for a visit with relatives. From St. Louis, Mr. and Mrs. Poertner brought Mrs. Yndogliato to Neillsville, leaving Monday for St. Louis and Denver.

Mr. and Mrs. Linus Prock, who had been spending part of the winter with their daughter, Mrs. John McKenzie and her family in Bettendorf, Ia., returned home on word of the illness of their son, Harold.

Mr. and Mrs. John Knoff and daughter were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Blodgett and family in Ripon.

Friends here have received word of the death of Dr. Leslie Timken in Lawrence, Kans., father of Mrs. Morris Blodgett of Ripon and formerly of Neillsville.  Mr. and Mrs. Timken resided in Neillsville for several months a few years ago.

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bruhn drove recently to Milwaukee, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Raines and Kelly, who had spent 10 days with her parents. Enroute they visited the DeWayne Schweinler family in Elroy, with Mr. and Mrs. Martin Lynch and family in Beloit, and in Janesville they visited Mrs. Lillian Schweinler. They also visited at the Jay Bruhn home in Muskego and the Chet Williams home in Oak Creek.  Later, Mr. and Mrs. Raines and daughter boarded a plane for their home in Richmond, Va.
