East Lynn (28 July 1911)

Fred Zuehlke left Monday morning for Lidgerwood, N. D. to work in the harvest field.

Will Duge and Elsie Knoop of Neillsville called on latter’s brother last Saturday and returned home Sunday.

Fred Grade bought a new Acme binder of H. Degener last week.  His old one was on the bummer.

The school board called on Henry Sternitzky Tuesday and had some work done for the interest of the district.

Miss Clara Knoop and sister spent a few hours at Henry Yankee’s Monday.

Fred Grade had the misfortune to get one of his horses cut on a barbed wire fence Monday night that will disable him for a long time.

Miss Lydia Puscheck is at present working for her aunt Mrs. L. E. Moh.

To drive around an oat field this season with a binder is like being in a parade.

If the amount of straw is to be taken into consideration the oats ought to yield at least 110 bushels per acre.
