The show and dance was largely attended and a good time reported by all.

 

Chris Fentz called on Miss Ethel Galbreath Sunday evening.

 

James Field’s little boy is getting some better from a bad case of tonsillitis.

 

John Clark and family called on Harvey Hills’ Sunday afternoon.

 

A large crowd gathered at the town hall last Sunday for preaching services but the preacher did not show up.

 

A large number from City Point attended the show and dance Saturday evening.

 

There was quite a rush at the new store for underwear during the cold weather last week.

 

John Coulthard has a new pump engine to pump water, but we see John is doing most of the pumping.

 

Harold Bender had a bad case of mumps.

 

Sam Ferguson and wife from Sleepy Hollow drove through town Tuesday morning looking for cows.

 

Herman Schwanebeck and son Max delivered sheep at Granton on Monday.

 

Miss Alma Wittcamp and Miss Lulu Ferguson were out riding Tuesday.  They have fine saddle horses.

 

Geo. Rinehart took one of his little girls to Dr. Beyer at Pittsville and had an abcess lanced on the side of the little one’s neck.

 

 

Hattie Sparks gave up her work at the store and went to City Point to work.

 

Oscar Ziemendorf and family of Wausau are visiting at the Ed Ziemendorf home.

 

Hance Sparks did not go to North Dakota as was reported a short time ago.  He is working at City Point on a dredge.

 

The man who owns the Gillard farm is intending to move on it in the near future.  He is there now putting up the hay.

 

A.A. Gates bought the hay on the McInnis place.

 

John Clark bought a cow from L.A. Coffee last week.

 

The pickle raisers are busy these days picking cucumbers.  The rain last week was alright, as the ground was getting quite dry.
