Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bender were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schultz at Granton Sunday afternoon.

 

Mrs. Oscar Neeb underwent surgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, Thursday morning, and at this writing is doing as well as can be expected. Among her visitors at the hospital Saturday and Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wolfe, Mrs. Darlene Langfeldt, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Ellison, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Stumpner, Mrs. Edna Cone, and Mrs. Neebs family, Oscar Neeb, Joyce and Neil.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Bauer of Spencer visited Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Litka.

 

The Sunnyside Card Club met at the Sunnyside school Friday evening. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Cobbe, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Ellison and son, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wolfe and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Stumpner, Mrs. Belle Wehling, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Thomas and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Young and family.

 

Mrs. Fannie Smith fell Wednesday morning and broke her left wrist. It was just seven weeks ago that she broke her left ankle.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Drake visited with Mr. and Mrs. Milton Bombard at Spencer Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Everett Oestreich entertained the young people of the Free Methodist Church at a popcorn party Saturday evening. Those attending were Rev. and Mrs. C. E. Eslick and children, Neva, Lowell and Paula, Luella and Kenneth Henninger, Jack DuBrava, Helen Holmes and Roy Oehler.

 

Mrs. Harold Schlinsog of Granton and Miss Donna Stevens called on Mrs. Oswald Henninger last week Monday afternoon.

 

James Roder visited with Mrs. Del Anderson Sunday afternoon while his wife visited with her mother, Mrs. Fannie Smith.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Lewis visited on Sunday afternoon with the Bernard Clouse visited on Saturday with his sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reigel and boys of Appleton.

 

Misses Virginia Oestreich and Roxanne Behrens spent Sunday afternoon with Misses Charlene and Faith Ann Clouse.
