Cook, Laura #3 (19 JUN 1909 - 7 FEB 1962)

 

Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon, Feb. 12, from the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home for Mrs. Larua Cook, who died at the Bethel Convalescent Home at Arpin on Wednesday evening, Feb. 7, 1962.  The Rev. Howard Timmermann of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Green Grove officiated and burial was made in Pine Hill Cemetery.  Mrs. Ted Klabon, accompanied by Mrs. Herman Rabski, sang "The Lord’s My Shepherd" and "I Know of a Sleep in Jesus Name."

 

The former Laura Sell was born Jun 19, 1909, in the Town of Beaver (Clark Co., Wis.).  The last six years she made her home at the Bethel Convalescent Home in Arpin.

 

She is survived by her mother, Mrs. George Koerner, Curtiss.

 

Pallbearers were Mr. Arnold Pieper, Mr. Delmar Pieper, Mr. Fred Sell, Mrs. William Anderson, Mr. Lyle Johnson and Mr. Bob Phillips.

 

Out of town people and relatives here attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sell, Mr. and Mrs. William Fohrmann, Mr. and Mrs. John Olson, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Roloff, Mr. Herman Sell, Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Pieper, Colby, Mrs. William Schultz, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pieper, Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. William Roloff, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Stoltzmann, Spencer, Mr. Bob Dempsey, Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. John Pieper, Reedsburg, Mrs. Louis Warnecke, Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Plantico, Mrs. Clarence Warnecke, Wis. Rapids, Mrs. Harry Dempsey, Owen, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Degnitz, Curtiss.
