Humbird (18 June 1964)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Bob Green and family returned Sunday from a trip which took them to Albuquerque, N. M.  An enjoyable trip, but home looked very good to them when they returned Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. G. Dickinson and Dale of Rockford, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Christen and Ann Marie of Black River Falls came to the Arthur Christen home Sunday for a family reunion and picnic dinner.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Perle Pickett spent Sunday at the Harly Randalls home near Hixton.

 

Mrs. Harold Bartel of Wautoma and Mrs. Wayne Paddock of Augusta visited Mrs. Henry Laffe Monday afternoon.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Dunn and family of Aumsville, Ore., and Mrs. Hazel Dunn and Cheryl of Black River Falls were dinner guests and spent Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Ed Zimmerman.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Matti, Mrs. Mae Ringrose and Miss Elsie Jahn were visitors at Black River Falls Wednesday.

 

Mrs. Gordon Gearing, with Mrs. Floyd Gearing of Merrillan, attended the 40th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Peasley in rural Black River Falls late Sunday afternoon.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Perle Pickett attended a farewell party at the Dale Mauer home in Rural Black River Falls for Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Dunn and family who have now returned to their home at Aumsville, Ore.

 

Clarence Jahn and Miss Elsie Jahn spent Friday with the Adolph Jahns of rural Alma Center.

 

Mr. and Mrs. John Flynn and boys of Berwyn, Ill., and Mrs. Madge Flynn and boys of Warsaw, Ind., spent the weekend at their parental home here. They attended the wedding of their niece, Suzanne Giloy and Richard Tiede of Fenton, Mich. At the Congregational Church in Menomonie, Saturday at 10 a.m.  The couple will make their home in Franklin Park, Ill., where he has a teaching position.

 

Please remember the auxiliary picnic, Wednesday, June 24, noon luncheon.
